We had a lot of excitement as we welcomed a famous character to our school. Young Sloppy Brush paid a visit while on his Brush with Fame Tour. His mission: saving other brushes from his fate, as he endured neglect and destruction from a careless artist. He inspired the young artists at RJ Richey not only to take care of their brushes, but to realize the importance of taking care of all art supplies.

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009It was an exciting first week in the Studio last week. We brainstormed all the words we could that relate to Art, Music and Theatre. Then, using Wordle, created word clouds that are amazing! Each class has its own and the links will be added to the webpage as well as here for our first opportunity to blog back and forth. I encourage all families to explore the webpages and links that are provided. There is a world to explore via the internet in a safe and responsible manner.

How exciting to be here blogging about Fine Arts! I am thrilled to share this site with parents and students. I look forward to hearing from you all.
